Welcome to the Therapy Intensives

Thank you for scheduling your child in the Therapy Intensives at Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies.

You will also receive generic appointment reminders from Kids Center for this Therapy Intensives appointment, but we put together this guide to help you know where to go and what to expect.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time in clinic.

Directions

Kids Center now proudly offers therapy intensives at both our Central campus (982 Eastern Parkway) and East campus (9810 Bluegrass Parkway). Please be sure to check the location for which your intensive is scheduled prior to your evaluation and intensive session. Below are directions to each campus.

Central Campus
Kids Center Central Campus is located in the Sam Swope Kosair for Kids Center. It is a large, brick Tudor-style building. Parking is to the rear of the building. Our entrance is on the east side of the building near our playground. Look for our name on the green awning. Please check in at the front desk, and someone will escort you to clinic.

East Campus
Kids Center East Campus is located in the Sam Swope Kosair for Kids Center. Our entrance under the covered drive. Look for our name on the front door. Please check in at the front desk, and someone will escort you to clinic.

Instructions

Please arrive promptly to your scheduled appointment times.
Please allow 90-120 minutes for the team assessment for planning and providing documentation to your insurance company to request coverage for the therapy intensive.
On the first day of the therapy intensive, we will collect your out-of-pocket fee of $2600.00 if you have not already paid. Three hours is a long session and your child will be burning a lot of calories. We will be taking snack breaks throughout the session. Please bring healthy snacks so that your child will stay energized during the intensive. Bring plenty of water to help them stay hydrated.
During the session your child will need to move freely, so please dress them in clothing they can move easily in. We prefer a shirt with sleeves and leggings; pajamas are often a good choice. No bulky clothes or jeans.
