The therapy staff at the Kids Center is very committed to the needs of you and your child. We want all of our parents to make progress and meet therapy goals. Your child’s progress depends on participation from the therapy staff and you. A large part of your participation is prompt and consistent attendance to therapy appointments.
- Arrive on time for scheduled therapy appointments.
- If you are going to be late, please contact us. We understand things happen. If you arrive more 20 minutes or more late, your therapist may not be able to see you due to scheduling constraints.
- Please let us know as far in advance as possible if you cannot make a scheduled appointment and/or you need to reschedule.
- Your therapist will notify you as far in advance as possible if they will not be present during your scheduled time and will make every effort to reschedule.
- If you miss an appointment and have not called to notify the center or your therapist prior to that time, this is considered a NO SHOW.
- If you attend less than 50% of your appointments or have two no show appointments in a 3-month time span, and/or you routinely arrive late to appointments, your child will be placed on floater/standby status for scheduling. We will call you with openings each week on your therapist’s schedule.
- Consistent floater/standby attendance for 3 months will result in the option (when available) to shift back to a consistently scheduled day/<me for your child.
Illness
Please adhere to the most current Kids Center illness policies when bringing your child to therapy. Please do not bring yourself or your child if there are any ill symptoms. We want to protect our staff and clients.
