Welcome to the Feeding Clinic

Instructions

• Please arrive 10 min. prior to your scheduled appointment time.
• While in clinic your child will be seen by a speech pathologist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, and a nutritionist.
• Kids Center is located in the Sam Swope Kosair for Kids Centre. It is a large, brick Tudor-style building. Parking is to the rear of the building. Our entrance is on the east side of the building near our playground. Look for our name on the green awning. Please check in at the front desk when you arrive, and someone will escort you to clinic.
• It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary referral/authorization for the appointment if required by your insurance company. Please bring all insurance cards to the appointment.
• On the day of your Feeding Clinic appointment, please schedule your child’s meals to allow for interest in eating during the evaluation. It would also be helpful to bring your child’s typical eating utensils, including bottles, cups, spoons, etc., as well as several foods that your child prefers and a few things that they find challenging.
• Bring your child hungry, BUT not uncomfortable.
