Grab your capes\, lace up your sneakers\, and join us as we walk\, roll\, and celebrate the incredible achievements of our kids. \nEvent Details\nSaturday\, August 24 | Waterfront Park\n8 AM – Registration Opens\n9 AM – Walk Begins \nEach year\, families\, friends\, staff\, and community partners form teams to honor our children’s remarkable efforts. Together\, we walk or roll along Waterfront Park’s scenic one-mile path\, symbolizing our commitment to supporting their journey. \nFollowing the walk\, the festivities continue at the Big Four Lawn with games\, food\, interactive activities\, and more. It’s a day filled with joy\, laughter\, and fun for the whole family! \nFundraising Goal: $100\,000\nOver 300 walkers and rollers come together\, not just to walk\, but to raise funds and support Kids Center’s mission to provide access to transformative therapies\, regardless of a family’s financial capacity to afford the full cost of care. \nUnfortunately\, insurance doesn’t cover the full cost of these critical therapies\, leaving a funding gap of about $2\,000 per child each year. \nBecome part of a larger effort to empower children with physical\, behavioral\, and intellectual challenges. Together\, we can bridge the gap between state and insurance funding\, ensuring no child is turned away.
